How rooms work

Create a temporary room without an account, or sign in with Orynium ID for an eligible permanent room. Invite participants using the room code and passphrase, or an encrypted link. A contact ID alone does not grant access.

Messages and files are encrypted in the browser. The server stores ciphertext. The encryption key stays in the browser or travels through the link fragment or passphrase. Keep these credentials private.

Privacy and sharing

The room owner can control Orynium-provided copying and sharing. When disabled, the server refuses new sharing-code issuance and the interface shows a privacy-safe room/time watermark. Existing invitations are not revoked by this setting.

A normal website cannot reliably prevent operating-system screenshots, screen recording, cameras or a participant copying information outside Orynium. This control is a deterrent and product policy, not an OS-level guarantee.

History and account boundaries

Room and message lifetimes still apply. Browser room access and central account sessions are distinct. Signing out of one service differs from signing out everywhere. Organizational customer support uses its own verified customer portal and retention rules.
